Akuvox General || Akuvox - Door Lock does not work when triggered from Indoor Monitor

Akuvox - Door Lock does not work when triggered from Indoor Monitor.

 

Below are troubleshooting questions and steps causing an Akuvox monitor from not opening the door lock.

 

Questions to ask call:

  1. Has this worked previously?

  2. Was there any work performed on the network leading up to this issue?

  3. Will the Indoor Monitor unlock the door if the doorbell is pressed and the call is answered then the Unlock button is pressed? (DTMF Tone)

  4. Are you trying to Unlock the Door on the fly without a Door Bell Call? (HTTP Unlock URL)

 

Possible Issues:

  1. If the Indoor Monitor fails to Unlock the door on a Received DoorBell Call, there could be a DTMF Tone Mismatch between both devices.

  2. If the Indoor Monitor fails to Unlock the door on the fly from the Monitors Live View Screen (Monitor Button), then the Door Phone IP Address has changed or will require the correct HTTP Unlock Command URL added to the Indoor Monitor configuration page.

  3. Devices may be on different LAN/ Network

  4. Cable issue

  5. Outdated Firmware
