Akuvox Hard Reset without Physical Reset Button

R20 series, R20-2 series, R25A, E12, R27, and R28 Door Phone models can be Factory Reset by Short-circuiting the Input Terminal.

 

 

*** Make sure device is Powered Off before you begin the Reset process ***

 

 

Example:

 

(R20A)

 

 

With Input A and GND (Ground) terminals Shorted,

 

Press and Hold the Call Button while Powering On the device.

 

Continue Pressing Call Button until the light begins Flashing then release.
