Diamond General || DDNS Setup With Eastern DNS

Go to www.easterndns.com and create an account.

 

You will receive a verification code. Verify and click submit.

 

Click CREATE A DOMAIN.

 

Fill in the DNS host name you want. IP Address will automatically fill with your public IP address. When finished, click Request Domain.

 

If successful, your dashboard will show your newly created domain.

 

Next from the Web GUI of the recorder go to Setting > Network > DDNS

 

Enable DDNS and select “NO-IP DDNS” for DDNS Type. Fill in the Domain Name you created on easterndns. The Username and Password are the same as your easterndns.com login.

 

Click Test. If successful, you will receive a Test Successful prompt. Click Apply.

Note: Default Ports for Diamond recorders are TCP: 3777 & HTTP: 80 which will need to be forwarded.
