• Detailed Log Records:
  • The updated baseline now automatically records every instance of hard disk formatting in the system logs. This includes detailed information such as:
    • Operating Account
    • Username
    • IP Address
    • Date and Time of Operation
• Improved Accountability:
  • By logging these details, the system provides a clear audit trail for all storage management activities, enhancing security and accountability.

2. Accessing Log Records

• Log Page Overview:

How to Access and Review Hard Disk Formatting Logs

Step 1: Access the Log Page

• Navigate to the Main Menu on the Diamond AIoT Console.
• Go to Maintenance  > Log to open the log records page.

Step 2: Review Formatting Logs

• In the Log page, filter the logs by selecting Type and Period > Search.
• Review the details of each entry, including the operating account, username, IP address, and timestamp of when the hard disk was formatted.

Step 3: Monitor and Audit

• Use these logs to monitor who performed the formatting, from which device, and at what time, ensuring that all actions are accounted for and in compliance with your security protocols.
