The Diamond AIoT Console's latest baseline introduces advanced pre-search capabilities by supporting intrusion or tripwire detection with custom Region of Interest (ROI) configurations. This feature allows users to draw precise lines and irregular zones to focus on specific areas during person/vehicle playback searches. This guide explains how to set up and utilize these features to optimize your surveillance efforts.

Pre-Search by Intrusion or Tripwire Features

1. Region of Interest (ROI) Customization

• Draw Lines and Irregular Boxes:
  • Users can now draw lines and irregular boxes to define their Region of Interest (ROI). This feature allows for greater precision when filtering searches for specific areas within the video footage.
• Flexible Zone Management:
  • The system supports both crossed-out and irregular zones, enabling users to exclude or include specific areas as needed during a search.

How to Perform Pre-Search by Intrusion or Tripwire

Live View Pre-Search

Step 1: Access AcuPick

• In the Live View page, click the AcuPick icon located at the top of the interface.

Step 2: Draw Rule Lines

• Draw the rule lines or define irregular zones on the screen. You can choose to search by Area or by Target depending on your specific needs. (The target area drawn is really light)

Step 3: Start the Search

• Click the Search button to initiate the search. The system will retrieve all results for targets that pass through the defined detection area.

Playback Pre-Search

Step 1: Search for the Target

• Navigate to the Playback page and select the target type (human, motor vehicle, or animal). The timeline will display video segments where this target appears.

Step 2: Draw the Rule

• Switch to a single window split view. Draw the rule lines or define the ROI. You can select either In Area or Crossing Line—with In Area being the default option.

Step 3: Filter the Results

• Click the Search button to filter the targets that passed through the detection area. When targets are identified, the timeline’s corresponding time points will turn orange, and target thumbnails will appear on the left side of the screen.
