How to Synchronize Arming Time from Back-End to Front-End Devices in the Diamond AIoT Console
The Diamond AIoT Console’s new baseline version 2.0 introduces a feature for synchronizing arming time from back-end devices to front-end devices. This enhancement improves the synchronization of alarm events across your security system, ensuring that arming schedules are consistently applied to both back-end and front-end devices. This guide provides detailed steps on how to configure and synchronize arming times, as well as the supported events for synchronization.

The synchronizing arming time feature is supported on the following NVR models:
- NVR 4XXX-EI
- NVR 5XXX-EI

1. Synchronized Arming Schedules
- Automatic Synchronization:
- When configuring the arming schedule on the back-end device, the new feature allows this schedule to be automatically synchronized with the connected front-end devices.
- Real-Time Updates:
- The system now includes real-time synchronization of alarm event settings, ensuring that both back-end and front-end devices operate under the same arming schedule.
2. Supported Events for Synchronization
- The following back-end events support synchronization with front-end devices:
- IVS (Intelligent Video Surveillance)
- SMD (Smart Motion Detection)
- MD (Motion Detection)
- CAM Ext (Camera Extension)
3. User Interface Enhancements
- Confirmation Prompts:
- The interface now includes prompts to confirm synchronization actions, ensuring users are informed and can verify before proceeding with synchronization.
How to Synchronize Arming Time
Step 1: Configure Arming Schedule
- Go to Main Menu > EVENT on the Diamond AIoT Console.
- Select the event linkage you wish to configure and set up the desired arming schedule.
Step 2: Save and Synchronize
- After configuring the arming schedule, click Apply to save the settings.
- The system will prompt: “Do you want to make the configured arming period the same as the camera?”
Step 3: Confirm Synchronization
- Click OK to confirm.
- The system will then synchronize the armed events and the schedule with the front-end device, ensuring consistent operation across your security system.
