Steps to Set Alarm Input

  1. Product Model and Firmware Version
    Ensure your device supports Alarm Input. This tutorial is based on WEB 5.0 firmware, though interfaces may vary across models and firmware versions.
     

  2. Operation Description

    Step 1: Login to your device.

    Step 2: Navigate to Event > Alarm and enable the alarm function.

    • Why Enable Alarm Input: Integrating external sensors through alarm input enhances the system’s ability to monitor and respond to real-time events, providing a higher level of security.

    Step 3: Select an Alarm-in Port and Sensor Type and set the Anti-Dither and schedule.

    • Anti-Dither: This setting ensures that the alarm is triggered only once within the specified time, preventing multiple triggers from the same event.
    • Schedule: Define the time periods during which the alarm input is active.



    Step 4: Enable the event linkage to associate the alarm input with specific actions or alerts. Step 5: Click Apply to save the settings. Use the Default option to restore all settings if needed.
