How to Set Audio Detection (WEB 3.0)
This knowledge base article provides a step-by-step guide on setting up audio detection for devices using the WEB 3.0 firmware. Audio detection allows the system to monitor and respond to specific audio events, enhancing the security and functionality of the monitoring system.
Purpose and Benefits
Setting up audio detection enables the device to react to unusual sounds or changes in audio levels, providing an additional layer of security. Proper configuration ensures timely alerts and actions in response to audio events, improving overall monitoring effectiveness.
Steps to Set Audio Detection
Step 1: Login to your device.

Step 2: Navigate to Setting > Audio Detection.

Step 3: Click Input Abnormal and Intensity Change. Set the Anti-Dither time.
- You can set the sensitivity and its threshold on this page. Higher sensitivity and a lower area threshold increase the likelihood of event triggering.
- Anti-Dither: This setting ensures the alarm is triggered only once within the specified time to avoid multiple triggers for the same event.

Step 4: Enable the Event Linkage to associate the audio detection with specific events.
Step 6: Click Save to apply the settings. Use the Default option to restore all settings if needed.
