How to Set Disarming (WEB 5.0)

This knowledge base article provides instructions on setting up the disarming function for devices using the WEB 5.0 firmware. Disarming allows users to temporarily disable alarm triggers, providing flexibility in managing security without deactivating the entire system.

Disarming is essential for managing security systems efficiently, allowing users to disable alarms during specific times or conditions, such as maintenance or scheduled events. This reduces false alarms and ensures the system is only active when needed, enhancing security and operational efficiency.

Steps to Set Disarming

    • Disarm by Period: The system stops triggering alarm linkage actions during the selected period.
      • Why Use Disarming or Disarm by Period: These options provide flexibility, allowing you to manage when the alarm system is active. This is useful during times when alarms may be unnecessary, such as routine maintenance or scheduled activities.
      • Benefits: Reduces false alarms, enhances operational efficiency, and ensures that alarms are only triggered when necessary.

Step 4: Enable Event Notification and select the Disarm Alarm Linkage Action as needed. The system will only trigger the selected alarm linkage actions during disarming.
Step 5: Click Apply to save the settings.
