Steps to Set Illuminator

  1. Product Model and Firmware Version
    Ensure your device supports the Illuminator function. This tutorial is based on WEB 5.0 firmware, though interfaces may vary across models and firmware versions.
     

  2. Operation Description

    Step 1: Login to your device.

    Step 2: Click Camera on the Homepage.

    • IR Mode: Links IR light in dark environments.

      • Why Use IR Mode: Ideal for complete darkness, providing visibility without emitting visible light.
      • Benefits: Enhances night vision without disturbing the environment.

    • Warm Light Mode: Links warm light in dark environments.

      • Why Use Warm Light Mode: Provides visibility with a more natural light appearance.
      • Benefits: Useful for environments where natural light appearance is preferred.

    • Smart Illumination: Links IR light in dark environments and triggers warm light upon human detection.

      • Why Use Smart Illumination: Enhances security by illuminating areas when movement is detected.
      • Benefits: Balances energy efficiency with security needs.

    • Brightness Upper Limit: Set the maximum brightness to avoid over-exposure.

    • Illuminator Delay: Set the duration that the warm light remains on after detection.



    Step 6: Select the Mode to adapt to various situations:

    • Manual: Adjust brightness manually for specific needs.
    • Auto/Smart IR: Automatically adjusts illuminator intensity based on ambient lighting.
    • Off: Turns off the illuminator when not needed.



    Step 7: Click Apply to save the settings. Use the Default option to clear Illuminator settings if needed.
