How to Set Profile (WEB 3.0)

 

This knowledge base article provides instructions on setting up and managing profiles for devices using the WEB 3.0 firmware. Profile management allows users to configure different surveillance settings based on time or conditions, enhancing the flexibility and effectiveness of the monitoring system.

Purpose and Benefits

Profile management enables the customization of surveillance settings to adapt to various conditions such as day and night. This ensures optimal performance and image quality regardless of the time of day. By configuring profiles, users can automate changes in settings, thereby enhancing security and operational efficiency.

Steps to Set Profile

Login to your device.

Setting > Camera > Conditions > Profile Management.

Manage your profiles:

Normal: The surveillance system will operate under the general configuration settings.

Full Time: Select either Day or Night in the Always Enable box to ensure the surveillance system operates under the chosen profile continuously.

Schedule: Drag the slide block to set specific times as Day or Night, allowing the system to switch profiles automatically based on the configured schedule.

Click Save to apply the settings. Use the Default option to restore all settings if needed.

Why Configure Profiles: Profiles allow the system to adjust settings such as exposure, brightness, and other parameters automatically based on the time of day, ensuring optimal image quality and performance.
