How to Set Profile (WEB 5.0)


This article provides a step-by-step guide for configuring the profile settings on devices using the WEB 5.0 firmware. The instructions may vary slightly depending on the model and firmware version of your device.
 

Purpose of Profile Settings

Profile settings in IPCs enable customization of camera behavior and image quality based on environmental conditions and time schedules. This ensures the camera delivers optimal performance and clarity in different scenarios, enhancing the overall surveillance effectiveness.

 

Steps to Set Up Profile Settings

Login to the Device

Access the device's web interface.
Enter your login credentials to gain access.

Navigate to Image Settings
Select Settings > Camera

Select and Manage Working Mode

Self-adaptive:
  • The camera will automatically adjust the image according to the environment. No need to manually select a profile.
Customized Scene:
  • In the Time Plan Setting, select the desired profile.
  • Drag the slide box to set the specific times for the selected profile.
  • Click Clear to delete all settings if needed.
Day/Night Switch:
  • Choose either the Day or Night profile.
  • The camera will operate under the selected mode depending on the time of day.

Apply the Settings

Click Apply to save the profile settings.
Use Default to restore all settings to their original state if needed.
