How to Set White Balance (Web 3.0)
White Balance (WB) is a camera setting that helps ensure the colors in photos and videos look natural. Different types of light (like sunlight, fluorescent lights, or incandescent bulbs) can cause colors to look different in your pictures. For example, under some lights, white objects might look a bit yellow or blue instead of pure white. White balance corrects this by adjusting the colors so that white looks white, and all other colors appear as they should.
Why is White Balance Important?
- Accurate Colors: Ensures colors are true to life, making your images look more natural.
- Consistency: Maintains the same color tones across multiple shots, which is especially important in a series of photos or a video.
- Better Quality: Reduces the need for editing later to fix color issues, saving you time and effort.
- Adaptability: Allows your camera to adjust to different lighting environments, whether you're indoors, outdoors, or under artificial lights.
Steps to Set White Balance

Log in using your camera’s credentials.
Navigate to White Balance Settings:
Go to the Settings > Camera > Conditions > WB.
Set Day and Night Profiles:
In the WB settings, you can configure separate profiles for Day and Night modes. This allows the camera to automatically switch to the appropriate white balance settings based on the lighting conditions.
Select the White Balance Mode:
Auto: The system compensates WB according to color temperature to ensure color precision.
Natural: The system auto compensates WB for environments without artificial light to ensure color precision.
Street Lamp: The system compensates WB for outdoor night scenes to ensure color precision.
Outdoor: The system auto compensates WB for most outdoor environments with natural or artificial light to ensure color precision.
Manual: Manually adjust the red and blue gain to achieve the desired white balance; the system will automatically compensate for white balance based on the color temperature. In manual mode, you can use the red and blue gain controls or the color sliders to fine-tune the white balance
Regional Custom: The system compensates WB only for the set area according to color temperature to ensure color precision.
