DMSS Cloud Account Device Sharing

(This demonstration was done on an iPhone 12 with Software version 16.3.1)


Before we begin, please make sure that the device we’re going to use was added to DMSS using the “ACCOUNT” option and not the “LOCAL” option. Otherwise the “Device Sharing” option will not appear.

 

1) Begin by opening the DMSS app

 

2) Tap on the “MENU” button belonging to the device we’re going to share.

 

3) Tap on the DEVICE SHARING option

 

4) Here where it says “Please enter target DMSS account” you can start adding email addresses to DMSS accounts you wish to share this device with.

 

5) Before you tap on the OK button on the top right hand corner, toggle which options this user will have access to like Playback, Alarm Push Notifications and Device Control. Once you’ve selected your permissions, click on OK on the top right hand corner.

 

5) You will see a pop up message saying “Shared Successfully”. You’ll also be able to see a list of user’s at the bottom of the screen.

 

6) In order to remove a user from the Shared User list, tap on the Menu button next to the user’s name.

 

7) Tap on “Cancel Sharing” in order to remove a user from the list.
