Diamond Mobile App || DMSS Push Notification Setup

DMSS Push Notification Setup

(This demonstration was done on an iPhone 12 with Software version 15.6)



1) To enable notifications, first go into the iPhone’s Settings App

2) After opening the Settings button then scroll down to the app list (it will be in alphabetical order)  and tap on DMSS

3) Inside the SuperLive Plus settings panel, tap on notifications.

4) To enable notifications tap on the slider that is next to “Allow Notifications”
The user can customize how the notifications appear as well as the sounds associated with the notifications in the options underneath.

5) With notifications activated in the iPhone’s settings, now we can open  the DMSS app

5) In the Home screen for DMSS, first tap on the (...) icon to the right of the desired system. Second tap on “Device Details”

6) Within the Device Details menu tap “Multi Channel Alarm Subscription”

7) Here we can enable notifications for the Diamond System

8) These menu options will now become available. Here we can fine tune alerts to specific channels, events and schedule associated with these cameras. For the purpose of this demo, we’ll show Motion Detection as an example.

9) When selecting an event type, we can narrow down the channels we wish to receive notifications from

10) Once these notifications are set and then triggered they will appear as pop ups like this

And there will be in-app event notifications.
