ENS General || DS-1200KI Control Keyboard Configuration

Configure your ENS DS-1200KI Control Keyboard

Step 1: Activate your Keyboard

You must activate your keyboard and set a secure password. You can do this through the SADP Tool just like an ENS camera or recorder.

Step 2: Configure the IP

The keyboard has a default IP address of 192.0.0.64. You will need to change the keyboard IP segment so it matches that of your local network. You may choose to Enable DHCP, or manually assign IP info as desired to match your local network. Once finished, key in the assigned Admin Password and click Modify.

Step 3: Browser Login

You will need to pull up the keyboard on a browser. Currently this needs to run in an Internet Explorer compatible environment (Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge using IE Mode, Chrome with the IE Tab, etc.)

The keyboard uses HTTPS, so you must include that header by typing “https://” and then the IP address you assigned for the keyboard into the address bar (such as https://192.168.1.150 ).

Step 4: Adding Devices

Once logged into the browser interface, navigate to Device Management > Device List, and select the tab for the appropriate device type you want to control (IP/IP Dome for standalone IP camera, DVR/NVR for controlling a recorder and the cameras connected to it, or Decoder for an IP encoder device)

Click Add SADP to detect devices on your network, select the device, and fill in the recorder login info.

(If you are adding multiple devices, make note of each device ID. This ID number will be used on the keyboard to call up the device for control

Once you have completed the steps above, you can use the keyboard to access the devices you have added.
