How to assemble Solar Camera SIPSB4AGZ/4-U3

1. Remove solar panel assembly and battery packs from the foam packing and place face down on a clean flat surface.

2a. Unlatch battery compartment door and open to reveal the hold-down brackets for the batteries.

2b. Remove the top two screws to allow the brackets to swing down for battery installation.

2c. Install batteries label side up so that the beveled edge aligns with the bottom corner of the compartment. Ensure batteries are pressed firmly into the enclosure.

2d. Swing hold-down brackets to original support position and fasten with the two screws that were removed. Close battery cover and secure latches.

3a. Remove camera assembly from foam packing and use included T10 wrench tool to open the settings cover of the solar camera.

3b. Insert sim card contact-side up into the sim card slot and press sim card in until it is flush. Switch the power switch over to the “On” position.

4a. Feed wires from camera assembly through the center of the mounting bracket on the solar panel assembly. Continue to lower camera assembly onto the solar panel bracket mount.

4b. Tighten retaining screws that secure the solar panel assembly.

4c. Connect the cable that provides solar/battery power to the camera.

5a. Attach a temporary 12volt power supply of at least 500mA to the camera’s auxiliary power plug.

5b. Attach the included RJ-45 Ethernet adapter to the camera module. Connect to a network switch or directly to a computer for initial configuration using SADP tool.
