If your browser is redirecting you to Microsoft Edge when you try to open Internet Explorer you must disable the redirect feature.

Click on the three dots and select "Settings"

Within "Settings" go into "Default Browser"

Set the "Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge" to "Incompatible Sites" or "Never". The "Always option will prevent you from using Internet Explorer.
