In the instance that you have the floor plans and square footage it may be beneficial to create possible network coverage mock up, In Ruijie Reyee this is called a Heatmap. Here are the steps to create that mock up
Log into your Cloud account
Top of the Web page you will select AI Heatmap
Now Create BOM
Create a name for the BOM > Choose the Scenario > add a Description (Optional)
Note: In this example I will be creating a BOM for a small hotel of approximately 1150 Sq Ft
On this page you will see the different devices in the Heatmap but first you will Add a Floor
Name it and add the floor plan
Next add the Area of the floor plan which can be done by converting Square Footage to Meters
The Heatmap will recognize walls using red lines to highlight them
At the top of the Floor Plan there will be the AI function to allow the software to recommend best devices and spots for optimal coverage of both 2.4Ghz and 5 GHz
You will be asked if you want to add Access Points that the Software recommends
Now you can add and delete to best fit your needs
At the bottom of the floor plan it will tell you the signal strength using a color meter from Poor to Good
