Reyee || Wireless Bridge Configuration || Phone Setup
When setting up Point to Point or P2 Multipoint Wireless Bridges (WB) there are a few steps we recommend you complete before mounting the WB
First verify the wireless bridge or bridges that will be located on theNVR side or where your main switch and router will be located
Next Identify you Camera side Bridge or bridges
Take note of the last 4 digits of the MAC address so that you ensure correct WB during Configuration
Lastly you want to already have an idea of a WDS SSID Name and Password so during setup you can easily add the WB’s to each other
After mounting the NVR side WB you will need to enter your phones WiFI settings and connect to the network that the WB is Broadcast
This is why it is essential to take not of the MAC to ensure proper configuration all networks broadcasting will show WDS name of Ruijie-xXXX
In this Example we are using MAC address ending with BE3C as the NVR side WB
Once you are connected to the WB’s WDS SSID you will enter any browser on you phone (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) and enter the address 192.168.120.1
Note: If you have not created a WDS SSID bypass the creation of a password
We Recommend that even if your WB comes up as an NVR or Camera side Bridge like you want it to, go ahead and pair it again
Red shows where to click to Pair Again
Green shows the information you will change
Once Started select the Mode the WB will be in and select next
Note: In this example we are changing the CPE (Camera Side) WB to an NVR side WB
Create the WDS SSID and Password that will allow your Camera side WB’s to connect
Should show you the updated information and the ability to save the settings, Save them and allow the WB time tol reboot
Now you will repeat the steps from connecting to Broadcasted WDS SSID on CPE (Camera side) WB and ensure that when you PAIR the camera side you enter the WDS SSID that you created on the NVR Side WB
Next you will create or add the Wireless bridges to a project in the cloud app/ website.
Your Bridges should not be online with eachother and sending connectivity back and forth
