Titanium CMS + Software || Adding a Recorder to NVMS for Viewing Cameras Inside the Local Network ||

Viewing Cameras Within the Local Network:

When adding a recorder to NVMS with IP cameras, the default configuration allows you to view the cameras only within the local network.

Viewing Cameras Outside the Local Network:

To view the cameras outside the local network, ensure the recorder is online and follow these steps to add the recorder using its serial number or QR code. How to:

Steps to Add a Recorder to NVMS

  1. Log in to NVMS

  2. Go to Resource Management and select Add, Edit, or Delete Device.

  3. Click on the Add button.

  4. Under the Quickly Add tab, locate the recorder's IP address and select it.

  5. Towards the bottom right, select Automatically Link Area and click OK.

  6. Click on the Edit button.

  7. Enter the recorder's password and click OK.

  8. The recorder will turn a dark grey, indicating it is online and ready for cameras to be viewed.
