Enabling Titanium PTZ Auto Tracking

 

Logging into the camera directly

Select Config on web page

On the left hand side choose an “Event”

 

For this example we chose “Line Crossing”

  1. Enable the event

  2. Enable “Trigger Track”

  3. Save settings

In the next section “Area”:

  1. Draw the desired area for the rule to trigger the motion or alert area

  2. Select direction and other settings for your preferred event

  3. “Lock” the camera in place. This will create a Home position and will return to this position after tracking the desired targets 

Warning: You must Lock the PTZ controls. Pan, Tilt and Zoom will no longer be available once PTZ is locked. Auto Tracking will not start until you lock the controls. This will also Automatically Create the Home Position.

 

To enable Manual Control with (NVR, SuperLive plus, and web GUI):

  1. Under Event-> Smart Tracking

  2. Modify the Tracking Mode to Manual PTZ Control Priority

This will allow you to control the PTZ outside of the auto tracking position. When it isn't being controlled it will return to the Home Position after the “Still Time” duration.
