Titanium PTZ || How to Configure Trace Settings 1.4.9 & 1.4.10 || Local

How to Configure Trace Settings for Titanium PTZ Cameras

This guide provides instructions on setting up and managing trace settings for Titanium PTZ cameras using firmware versions 1.4.9 and 1.4.10. Trace settings allow you to record and playback a camera’s movement along a specific path, ideal for repetitive surveillance tasks.

Firmware Version Check: Double-check that your camera's firmware is either 1.4.9 or 1.4.10, as these settings are only available in these versions.

Recording a Trace

Select the PTZ camera you want to configure, then click “Add” to create a new trace. You can also extend the IPC information by clicking on the corresponding icon and then click to add a trace name. Once the trace name is set, click “Start Record” and move the speed dome to record its movements along the desired path. When done, click “Stop Record” to save the trace.

Playing or Stopping a Trace

To play a recorded trace, select the trace from the list and click the play icon. To stop the trace playback, click the stop icon.

Modifying the Trace Name and Deleting Trace

On the left panel, enter a new name for the trace, then click to modify and save the updated trace name.

To delete a trace, click the delete icon. Alternatively, hover the cursor over the trace name on the right panel, and a delete icon will appear in the right corner of the trace name. Click this icon to delete the trace.

Trace settings allow you to automate the movement of Titanium PTZ cameras along predefined paths, making them ideal for routine surveillance tasks. By recording and managing traces, you can enhance the coverage and efficiency of your surveillance system.
