EZstation 3.0 not displaying face detection pass-through records
In some cases, when an NVR has a lot of face detection results, the Ezstation software will prematurely time-out a face detection pass-through record search. EZ station will give a “No matches found” error in these instances.
To correct this, the solution is to edit the config.ini of EZstation to allow more time for the recorder to respond to the search query.
File location for PC:
We can find this file on windows by going to C:\Users\Public\Ezstation\Config.ini
Open Config.ini with notepad and modify the RevTimeOut=10 to a larger value such as RevTimeOut=120. This will allow a period of two minutes for the recorder to respond to the search query.
Save the config.ini file and relaunch Ezstation.
File Location for Mac:
We can find this file on Mac OS by going to the applications folder and locating Ezstation.
Open the package contents by control-clicking the icon and selecting “Show Package Contents”
Navigate through to Contents -> MacOS. Open config.ini with textedit and modify the RevTimeOut=10 to a larger value such as RevTimeOut=120. This will allow a period of two minutes for the recorder to respond to the search query.
Save the config.ini file and relaunch Ezstation.
