UNV General || How to use HTTPS certificates

[EZStation] How to use HTTPS

  1. Private Certificate

1 .Enter Network-HTTPS, choose “Create” to create certificate

 

2. Shows below, fill in the previous 3 columns mainly, press ok to create the certificate

3. Turn it on, save it, the HTTPS is enabled

4. Now you can enter https://IP in the browser with encryption

5. Due to the browser can not recognize it at the first time, the browser will notify you that it has problem, you need to click continue to go to the next

6. You can see the certificate error in the browser, click it to show.

7. Click to check the certificate info, you can install the certificate created by the device for next login properly

 

8. Install the certificate to trusted root certificate certification authority storage area

 

 

 

  1. Certificate Request

  1. Choose “Request” and click “Create” to create certificate

  1. Fill in the requested info, same as previous, fill in  country and Province/State info for test

  1. Click ”OK” to create corresponding certificate request, no need to click “Download” to download

  1. Signature on CA after download, then import to the device

  2. Import the installed certificate to the device, now you can use https

Note: When install the certificate, please reopen the IE, or it may happen that the certificate has an error notice on browser
