Akuvox Local || Shortcut for 2-wire solution deployment

When it comes to 2-wire project, what troubles us most is its deployment.
End users don't want to mess up their interior design to replace devices. And for distributors and installers, they have to take into account of the high labor cost and other expenses brought by redeployment.
So how to make the most efficient 2-wire replacement at the least cost? Let's see it!

Quick deployment steps:
  • Devices quick selection
  • Supply power quick selection
  • Wires quick selection
  • Wiring methods quick selection

Quick selection for devices and power supply

NOTE:
With 48V or 24V power supply, one NS-2 allows up to 6 device connections simultaneously, while C313W-2 can only power 5 devices without NS2.
NS2 is used to maintain network stability, as the network needs to be segmented on a family basis in an apartment building.

Villa Sample

This is a 5-room villa, with each room containing a C313W-2.  48V power supply enables the C313W-2 installed in the living room to power other three C313W-2s and one R20A-2.
An R20A-2 is installed at the entrance for access control and intercom, and several IP cameras in the garden for monitoring.
With the Cloud, users can answer incoming calls from door phones, monitor their house at any time through the mobile phone and more.

Apartment building Sample

This is a small 1-room apartment building.
Each apartment has one R20A and one C313W-2 for home intercom and monitoring use.
NS-2 at each floor, using the 48V power supply, connects 3 households to ensure the network stability.
R29 is installed in the lobby, enabling users to make calls and contactless access control such as facial recognition.
With the Cloud system, administrators can remotely manage the building, and users can answer incoming calls from the intercom, monitor their house at any time through the mobile phone and more.

Special Villa Sample
See a special villa case. We need to install C313W-2 for 6 rooms, and 1 R20A-2 at the entrance.
Do you know how to deploy the devices and choose the power supply?
One 48V definitely does not work, so we make two 24V power supplies connected in parallel for the C313W-2.

Quick wire selection
Good news! There is no need to worry about wire choice! We support the most common wire types: 18AWG, 20AW and 24AWG. Please note that the signal attenuation would occur more or less due to the different diameters of the wires and its length increasing. To maintain good signal quality, our solution supports a wiring length that meet the wiring needs of most houses.

Quick selection for wiring methods
There is no need to modify original circuits, because all devices can be connected in series, parallel or series-parallel. The maximum distance between two NS2s is 200m, and between any two devices 300m.
To use the device, just connect it to the circuit.
