Controlling Voice Permission of Channels in the Diamond AIoT Console
How to Control Voice Permission of Channels in the Diamond AIoT Console
In sensitive environments such as banks, the management of voice information is critical due to the confidential nature of the data. The latest update to the Diamond AIoT Console introduces enhanced controls over voice permissions, allowing both local-end and web-end users to manage the ability to play, export, and upload audio across different channels. This feature ensures that audio access is tightly controlled and can be customized based on user roles and channel needs.
Applicable Models
The voice permission control feature is supported on the following NVR models:
Key Features of Voice Permission Control
1. Enhanced Audio Management
2. Compatibility and Protocol Support
Dahua Protocol:
- Voice permissions can be controlled through the Dahua platform, third-party clients, and APP terminals using the Dahua protocol.
Third-Party Protocols:
- Audio permission control is not supported for ONVIF, GB, and other third-party or standard protocols. These protocols cannot manage audio channels accompanied by sound through the Diamond AIoT Console.
How to Configure Voice Permissions
Step 1: Access User Account Settings
- Enter the Main Menu and navigate to System > Account > User.

Step 2: Configure Voice Permissions
- Click on the User icon to access the user’s permissions.
- Under the Permission section, locate the Voice option.
- Configure the voice permissions for each channel as needed, allowing or restricting the ability to play, export, or upload audio based on the user’s role or security requirements.
Benefits of Voice Permission Control
- Enhanced Security: Tight control over voice permissions helps protect sensitive audio data, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access, export, or upload audio.
- Customizable Permissions: Administrators can tailor audio access on a per-channel basis, allowing for granular control over who can interact with voice data.
- Flexible Management: The ability to manage these permissions both locally and via the web enhances operational flexibility, making it easier to maintain security protocols across different access points.
