How to Perform Firmware Updates (WEB 5.0)

Steps to Perform a Firmware Update

Login to the Device

Access the device's web interface.
Enter your login credentials to gain access.


Export Configuration Settings

Before performing the firmware update, it is crucial to export your current configuration settings to ensure you can restore them if needed.
Navigate to System > Manager > Import/Export.
Click Export Configuration File and save the file to your local storage.


Navigate to Firmware Update Settings

Warning: Updating with incompatible firmware can cause device malfunction. Only update if necessary and ensure the firmware is obtained from trusted sources such as Dahua technicians or the official website. Dahua is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect updating methods.
 

Click on the System icon.

Go to Maintenace Managment > Update.

Upload firmware

Auto Check can be enabled to automatically check for new firmware updates.
