*This process will only work on the Local GUI of the recorder.

  1. Log into the recorder and select “Home” on the upper left hand corner.

  1. Select “Camera”

 

  1. Within “camera“ settings, click more settings and select “channel default password management"

 

4.A window will appear with a check box allowing for the default camera password to be changed.

 

5. Enter in the system’s administrative password.

 

6. You will be able to reveal the current password that is set for cameras as well given the option to change the password.

 

7. Note: You have the ability to change all camera passwords if they are using the port (8000) and protocol (IPCAM), 

*this will not work with cameras added via onvif or any other protocol.
