How to Set Up Live View Layout Through Web GUI 5.0

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to customize the live view layout of security systems using the Web GUI 5.0. Ensure that the recorder is updated to firmware version 5.0 or higher to access these features.
Confirm that the recorder is running on firmware version 5.0 or above, as this version is required to change the layout settings.
 

Access the system by logging into the recorder through the web interface using the necessary credentials to gain entry to the system settings.

Navigate to Settings > Remote Device from the main menu once logged in. This section allows for the management of all connected cameras.

Select Video Device within the Remote Device management area to proceed to the camera settings.

Click on Channel Sorting to rearrange the camera feeds. Channels can be dragged and moved to desired spots within the live view grid according to monitoring needs.

After rearranging the channels, click OK to apply the changes. A notification will indicate that the cameras will temporarily go offline as the new channel configuration is implemented.

Click OK on the notification to proceed. The cameras will disconnect briefly, usually for about a minute, to apply the changes.

Once the cameras are back online, check to ensure the channels have been moved to the correct spots as intended.image.png


 

Exit out of the Remote Device settings after confirming the changes.

Click on Live to view the live feed.

Select a grid layout and click Fast Live to ensure that the layout is set as desired.
