After adding the device to DMSS APP successfully, you will see the device shows in the device list. Press the “Home” icon located on the top-left corner of the APP to enter the main menu and hit “Me” icon located on the bottom-right corner to enter the APP configuration menu.

The snapshot on the left shows the General menu without an account signing in while the snapshot on the right shows the General menu you log in with an account. By default, the push notification is “ON”. So, no matter whether you log in with an account or not, the APP is able to receive notifications.

Return to the main menu and click on the “Message” icon for the alarm subscription. Click on the device that you want to enable the push notification. For example, the snapshot on the right below shows neither devices have push notifications enabled (Status show “Close”).

After selecting the device to enable the alarm notification, simply switch it to ON for more setting options. Then click on “AI Analysis”.

In the AI Analysis menu, you may select the Tripwire Alarm where you can select which channel you want to be able to receive the notification from. Please make sure the Tripwire IVS is well set up on NVR for the alarm push.

Return to the device alarm configuration page and remember to click on the “Save” button located on the top-right corner. You can also see there is one channel that has alarm push enabled in AI Analysis. And the status of Alarm Subscription will no longer show close, which means the selected device has set up receiving the alarm notification from now on.

When the alarm occurs by the tripwire IVS, your phone will receive a pop-up notification. (Different phones might have different notification indications, please refer to your phone user manuals for more details). When tapping the notification message on your phone, it will lead you to the quick playback page in APP.

Otherwise, you may click on “Message” icon on the bottom of the APP to review all alarm notifications, including the motion and IVS triggers.

- Make sure that Do Not Disturb is off.
- If you’ve recently installed DMSS or restored from a backup, open the DMSS to start getting notifications.
