Please make sure the recorder is well connected to the Internet. NAT is “Enable”, the NAT Status shows “Success” (Settings > Network > NAT), and the SuperLive Plus linked to this device.
If you have questions regarding the setup of P2P connection, please refer to that document.
Then you have to make sure the Push Messages is “Enable” and the status of push server shows “Online”. (Settings > Alarm > Event Notification > Push Message) The recorders will push messages to the mobile clients when the push server is online.
If you wish to change the time of receiving the push notification sent from the recorder, you may click on “Link Schedule” and modify the time by clicking on the pencil-like icon to edit the time. If you wish to customize the schedule, you may simply click on “Plus Sign” to create your own schedules.
Let’s say the customer wants to receive a push notification on the mobile phone whenever someone trips the wire and triggers the alarm. Log into the system by entering the username and password.
After logging in, click on the “Start” button located on the bottom left corner and select “Settings”.
On the Main Menu, select the “Alarm” module.
When entering the Alarm setup menu, click on the “Tripwire” under Smart Event to enter the tripwire setup page. Then, enable the camera on the right that you wish to get the push notification when someone trips the wire. For detailed tripwire setup, please refer to that document.
After adding the device to Super Live Plus APP successfully, you will see the device shows in the device list by clicking the “Server List” icon located on the top-right corner. Make sure the device that you want to receive the push notification from shows online.
Return to the Live view page and click on the 3-line like icon located on the top-left corner to enter the Main Menu page. Then, we’ll click on the “Push Setting” icon to enter the Push Setting menu where you can enable/disable the push notification and types of the notifications you wish to receive.
By selecting the device you wish to set up the push notification, you’ll need to toggle the slider to enable the “Device Notification Function”. After that, you will be able to view all kinds of notifications you want to be received from the recorder, such as intelligent and basic system alarms.
In this case, we can click on the Line Crossing under Intelligent Alarm to choose which camera you wish to get the push notification when the tripwire alarm is triggered. By default, all the alarm notifications will be initially activated. If you wish not to receive certain types of push notifications, make sure to disable them.
After enabling/disabling the alarm notifications as needed, make sure to press the “Save” icon located on the top-right corner before returning to the Push Setting menu. As long as the device is set for receiving notifications, the status will show “Subscribed” .
Once the push notification is configured correctly on APP, you will start to receive the notifications continuously even if the APP is not operating.
You may tap on any of the alarm notifications to open up the APP automatically in the Live view page and the main menu button (3 lines with a red dot) on the top-left corner shows you there are notifications available for reviewing. Tap on the main menu button and click on “Notifications” icon to get into the page where you can review all the push notifications.
When in the Notifications page, you can tap on any available notifications to check for more options, such as go to the Live view of that camera, start the quick playback, enable the alarm output, or delete the notification for good. Note: you will only see the first 100 events triggering in the Notifications page.
Below is an example of tabbing the quick playback icon. The APP will lead you to the Remote Playback page and show you the video when the event triggered. You may have choices of downloading the video, taking a snapshot, or recording to your cell phone.
