ENS Recorder || Enabling Mobile Push Notifications || Web Client

***Note: You will need to download the ENS Vision app from the phone’s respective app store.***

Please make sure the recorder is well connected to the Internet. And the Register Status of the “Platform Access” shows Online and the ENS Vision Account linked to this device.

 

The P2P connection can be only programmed through the local recorder. You won’t be able to find the system QR code through the WEB interface. If you have questions regarding the setup of P2P connection, please refer to that document.

 

Let’s say the customer wants to receive a push notification on the mobile phone whenever someone trips the wire and triggers the alarm. Once logged into the system, select the Configuration tab.

 

On the Configuration menu, select Event tab.

 

In the Event menu, select Smart Event.

 

On the Smart Event menu, select the camera you want to set up the Line Crossing and select the Line Crossing Detection tab. Please note that only ENS line IPC supports Line Crossing VCA will support the function.

 

If you want to receive the push notifications on your mobile phone from the recorder, make sure to check the box on “Notify Surveillance Center” in the Linkage Method tab to allow the notifications sent by the recorder.

 

After adding the device to ENS Vision APP successfully, you will see the device shows in the device list. Press the 3-dot-like icon on the bottom right corner of the APP and hit “Settings”. Make sure the “Message Push Notification” is ON.

Back to the device list by clicking “ENS Vision” icon on the bottom left corner of APP. Select the device you wish to receive the notification and swipe the device to the left. You will see a gear-like icon, click the icon to enter the settings menu.

Click on the “Alarm Notification” to enable the notification. If you wish to receive the notification at a certain period of time, you may configure the time accordingly by enabling the notification schedule.

When the alarm occurs by the tripwire VCA, your phone will receive a pop-up notification. (Different phones might have different notification indications, please refer to your phone user manuals for more details). When tapping the notification message on your phone, it will lead you to the quick playback page in APP.

Otherwise, you may click on “Notification” icon on the bottom of the APP to review all alarm notifications, including the motion and VCA notifications.

 

If you still have an issue receiving notifications, sometimes it relates to the notification configuration of your phone. To find out where to enable the notifications for your Andriod phone, please follow the steps below.
a. Swipe down from the top of your screen to show the Notification Shade.
b. Tap on the gear-like icon on the top right corner.                                                                                                                                            c. Scroll down the list to find the Notifications button.
d. Toggle the slider of the APP you want to enable/disable notifications for.


If you don’t receive notifications from ENS Vision on your iPhone (iOS12 and later and iPadOS), you may try the following steps.
a. Connect to a Wi-Fi or mobile network.
b. Go to Settings > Notifications, select ENS Vision, and make sure that Allow Notification is on.
c. If you have notifications turned on for ENS Vision but you’re not receiving alerts, you might not have Banners selected. Go to          Settings > Notifications, select ENS Vision, then select Banners.
d. Make sure that you’re signed in to your Apple ID.
e. Make sure that Do Not Disturb is off.
f. If you’ve recently installed ENS Vision or restored from a backup, open the ENS Vision to start getting notifications.
