Face Detection (AI by Recorder) + Face Comparison (AI by Recorder)

This article provides a detailed guide for configuring the face detection and face comparison function on your recorder. The instructions may vary slightly depending on the model and firmware version of your device.


Enable Face Detection

On the NVR, select AI.

Create a Local Face Library

Navigate to AI > Database > Face Database Config.

Select Type to Local, choose the Channel, and click Add.

Register People

In Details, click Register to create individuals one by one or use Batch Register to create multiple people at once.

Face Detection AI by Recorder Setting

Go to AI > Parameters > Face Detection.

Select the channel, choose Type as AI by recorder, and select Enable. Click Apply.

Face Comparison AI by Recorder

Go to AI > Parameters > Face Recognition.
Select the channel, choose Type as AI by recorder, and select Enable.
Click on the + sign, select Face Database, and click OK.

Search

On the NVR, select AI Search > Face Recognition.

In Channels, select the face comparison camera, start time, and end time, then click Search.

Face comparison records will be displayed.

Live View

Navigate to Live, select the corresponding camera, go to the AI real-time preview interface, and show face comparison results.
