- Login to your recorder. Please make sure you run the browser in Administrator mode. It will prompt you to install a webplugin in order to backup your recording correctly.

- You will be directed to the home page of the recorder. On the home page locate the Search button

- Once in the Search page, you will be able to view and download playback.
In the following pictures, you will be able to see the date, camera name, and the time for the playback, highlighted in a red box.


- To backup the playback for the day and cameras selected, press the play button, and then the scissor icon highlighted below.

- Next, you want to click and drag these two icons highlighted below. The one on the left is the start time and the right is the end time. This is where you choose how long you want to view or backup the recording.

- To save your backup, press the save button as highlighted below. You will then need to change the file format to MP4 in order to view the playback on a video player.

You can also select where to save your backup to by clicking on the Browse button. This will prompt you for the location that you want to save the backup.

- Once you press the OK button, it will proceed with the download. After the download is finished, you can view your backup in the file location that you selected.

- To backup your recording, you can view it in the Backup on the main page.

- Once in the Backup page you will see the following options as highlighted

The top left is where you can choose the storage path to save your backup files. You can click Browse to change the path that you want it to be downloaded to.
Next is the Start and End time. This is where you can choose when to start and end your backup.
You can also change the File Format. You will want to change this to MP4, as this is the normal video format.
When you click Search, you will see all the results pulled up from the Start date, and to the End date, as shown below. Here you can select which playback to download, or if you want to download everything just check the very top box, and hit Backup in the bottom right.

Once you start your backup, you can click View Download to pull up another window. This window shows you how long the backup will take to complete.
