Your IPC must support the People/Vehicle Perimeter function to configure.
Log into your recorder and click "Function Panel"
Click on the People/Vehicle Perimeter option.
Click the "Tripwire" option.
Enable the function and checkmark the desired target detection options:
People: Allows you to enable/disable and modify sensitivity from 1-100% for humans.
Vehicle: Allows you to enable/disable and modify sensitivity from 1-100% for vehicles.
Non-Vehicle: Allows you to enable/disable and modify sensitivity from 1-100% for Non-Vehicles.
Press "Apply" to save.
The rule section allows for the fine tuning of duration, lines, and the direction.
Duration: The duration option will control how long the line crossing alarm is active before expiring.
Line: Allows the user to select which line is being configured.
Direction: Will change the direction the alarm will trigger. A->B, A<-B, or bidirectional A<->B
Press "Apply" to save.
"Draw line" must be checked to draw the line. Left click and drag your mouse to draw.
"Clear" will erase the active line.
Press "Apply" to save.
Press
Select the "Trigger" option to configure the event action.
Push: Enable/Disable push notification.
Buzzer: Enable/Disable the onboard buzzer on the recorder.
Pop Up Video: Enable/Disable the "Pop Up" video function ( local GUI).
E-Mail: Enable/Disable email notifications (must configure further).
Snapshot: Enable/Disable whether a snapshot will be taken when the event occurs.
Record: Allows you to configure which camera will record when the function is triggered. The same camera name should be listed here, but you may also include additional cameras to trigger based on this camera's event.
Alarm-out: Allows configuration of which Alarm-out will trigger when the event occurs.
Trigger Preset: Allows you to call a preset on a camera when the event occurs. This is useful if you have a PTZ camera that is in the same vicinity.
Press "Apply" to save.
Click the "Intrusion" option.
Enable the function and checkmark the desired target detection options:
People: Allows you to enable/disable and modify sensitivity from 1-100% for humans.
Vehicle: Allows you to enable/disable and modify sensitivity from 1-100% for vehicles.
Non-Vehicle: Allows you to enable/disable and modify sensitivity from 1-100% for Non-Vehicles.

Regional Activities: Appear will trigger when appearing within the region. Cross will trigger when crossing the edge of the intrusion zone.
Direction: Direction is only active in "Cross". Entrance will trigger when entering the zone. Exit will trigger when leaving the zone.
Duration: The duration option will control how long the intrusion alarm is active before expiring.
Area: Allows the user to select which zone is being configured.
Press "Apply" to save.
Select the "Trigger" option to configure the event action.
Push: Enable/Disable push notification.

Click the "Line Crossing Counting" option.
Enable the Line Crossing Counting option.
Pass Line Info:
Alarm Line: The alarm line being configured. (1 available)
Direction: Control direction for statistical information
Reset Information:
Auto Reset: Enable/disable automatic reset mode
Mode: The mode for reset function. (Daily, Weekly, Monthly)
Time: The time that the reset statistical reset will occur
Draw line must be checked to allow you to draw the line.
Statistical OSD will toggle the OSD overlay with Entrance and Exit information.
Select "Detection Target"
People: Allows you to enable/disable and modify sensitivity from 1-100% for humans.
Vehicle: Allows you to enable/disable and modify sensitivity from 1-100% for vehicles.
Non-Vehicle: Allows you to enable/disable and modify sensitivity from 1-100% for Non-Vehicles.
Press "Apply" to save.
Select "Function Panel" then click "Record"
Select your desired record strategy. The People/Vehicle detection function is bound to the "AI Record" option.
You may also click "Advanced" to create a custom record strategy.
If you click advanced, you will be able to select which specific functions you want to add to the record mode and the recorder will create a custom record strategy based on the options you select.
The recorder will populate with your custom record strategy. Click "Apply" to save.
