Diamond Recorder || How to enable 2 way talk || Local GUI
To use 2-way talk on a Diamond series recorder, you must enable audio on each camera you plan to use.
Step 1.
Log into the NVR.
Step 2.
Right click with your mouse and click on "Main Menu".
Step 3.
Click on "Camera" located at the left side of the bottom menu bar.
Step 4.
Navigate to "Encode" on the left side, chose the channel you wish to enable audio, then click "more".
Step 5.
Click the check box then click "ok". NOTE: Click "Apply" on the Encode screen after you click "ok" here.
Step 6.
Open the DMSS app on your phone
Step 7.
Pull up the camera you wish to talk through and click the MIC button in the center. NOTE: Make sure to enable MIC permissions for DMSS in your PHONE settings.
