***Note: You must use Internet Explorer to view the system via web interface***

To access the web client, please use a Windows based PC and use Internet Explorer as the web browser.

Access the recorder’s web interface by typing in the IP address on the address bar of Internet Explorer. The path should look like the following: “http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx” (Note: If the HTTP port has been changed from default, you will need to add the port number after the ip address by inserting a colon “:” in between the address and port number).

Install all requested web plugins that are prompted by Internet Explorer. Once installed, you may need to refresh, or restart the web browser. You may install the plugin by selecting “Run”.

After logging into the system, select Alarm in the main menu.

In the Alarm page, select Video Detection, and then Motion Detection.

On the Video Detection page, make sure that MD is enabled (Motion Detection). To the right of that checkbox will be the channel numbers to modify each camera individually. You may also select "Copy to" on the bottom right hand corner to change all cameras. Select Region to create the motion detection area if changes are necessary.

When selecting the Region setting, anywhere where there is a highlighted color on the image will be where motion will be detected. Anywhere there isn’t a color highlighted will not trigger motion detection.

To set a Schedule for motion detection, click on the "Setting" button that is next to "Schedule" and the scheduling box will appear.
