Titanium Recorder || Instructions for Building a RAID5 with up to 16 Hard Drives

Insert all 16 hard drives into the designated slots while ensuring that the device is powered off.

Turn on the device and access the Disk Management page. Format all 16 hard drives.

Navigate to the Disk Mode page and activate the RAID function. After selecting "OK," the device will automatically reboot.

Proceed to the Physical Disk page and select Disk 1 through 15. Create an array by clicking the "Create an Array" button.

A request for authorization will appear. Use the default username "admin" and password "123456."

On the "Create an Array" page, input a name for the array, beginning with a letter. Select RAID5 as the Array Type and click "Add."

Creating the array will erase all data on the drives. Click "OK" to continue and allow several minutes for the process to complete.

The RAID5 array will now be created. Verify that the Type of the 15 drives has changed to "Array Disk," indicating the successful creation of the array.

Access the "Array" page to view the newly created array.

On the Physical Disk page, select the "Hot Spare" button to transfer disk 16 to a hot spare drive. Authorization is required.

Click "OK" to continue, acknowledging that all data on the drive will be erased. Once complete, the hot spare drive will be created. In the event of a broken drive, the system will automatically replace it with the hot spare and rebuild the array.

The process for building a RAID5 with 16 drives is now complete. Enjoy the newly created array.
