UNV Recorder || Add device via RTSP (5-2021 FW) || Web GUI

Click "Setup"

Click "Camera"

Select the channel you want to configure and press "Modify"

Select "Protocol"

Enter the RTSP string of the device you are connecting. The RTSP command will depend entirely on the product brand you are using. This example will use a Titanium DVR's RTSP string.

The full RTSP string for this example is:
rtsp://192.168.1.140:554/chID=4&streamType=sub&linkType=tcp

UNV includes the IP and port number by default. We will modify our RTSP string to shorthand:
Main stream: chID=4&streamType=main&linkType=tcp
Sub stream: chID=4&streamType=sub&linkType=tcp
Checkmark substream if you need dual streams.

Press save once programmed.

Enter the IP Address, username, and password.
Press save.
