Akuvox General || How to Configure Discovery Mode in Intercom Device
Scenario
It is a plug and play configuration mode. Akuvox devices will configure themselves automatically when you power on the devices and connect them to network. It is super time-saving mode and it will greatly bring you convenience by reducing manual operations. This mode do not need to be done any configurations previously by the administrator. If you enable the discovery mode, the device will scan automatically all types of the devices on the same discovery address so that you can make a call with any devices on the call list directly without any other configuration.
On the device web interface, navigate to Network > Advanced > Connect Setting.
Operation Instruction
- All Akuvox devices support discovery mode.
Operation Procedure
- Discovery mode is enabled by default, if someone disabled it before, you need to enable it again.
- Edit device address, device extension and device location.
- If Discovery mode is adopted, the device will scan automatically all types of the devices on the same discovery address, then you can find these devices on the contacts.
Tips
If multiple devices are installed in the same device address, you need to use different device extension to distinguish devices.
