Akuvox General || How to Reset Akuvox Device WebUI Passwords on a Closed Network

This document is for devices not connected to the Cloud/internet and are wired on a closed LAN.

To use any of the Akuvox config programs you need to make sure no other two instances are also installed on the same PC. Make sure Only PC Manager is installed:

Only one PC Manager is allowed in the same LAN (Local area network).
No SDMC, ACMS, and Facepro software turned on on your personal computer or on other personal computers in the same network.
The Firewall on your computer should be turned off unless 8503-UDP port is added to your firewall inbound and outbound.
Anti-virus software should be turned off unless 8503-UDP port is added to your firewall inbound and outbound.
Only one network adapter can be turned on your PC.
Make sure the computer you are using is connected to the LAN of the device.
You will need PC Manager version 1.0.0.6 (PCmangerDLLink) and a configuration file (reset.dbDLLink)

 

Open PC Manager

Username: admin

Password: admin

 

Click on the top left icon 10 times, this will open a prompt for DeveloperTools login.
Username: admin

Password: admin

 

Click on Import and select the reset.db file.

 

 

Close this PC Manager window (which will bring you back to the main PC Manager page.

 

Select Security > Basic > Login password: admin

You can replace “admin” here with the password you want.

  • If your device is a Doorphone, select the same options under the “Door” option instead of the Indoor option.

 

This will open up a page for you to select the device. Choose your device and click on Select Path. Save the file.

 

 

If configuration is successful, you will see an “Exporting Succeeded” prompt.

 

Refresh the WebUI for your device and use the updated password to log in.
