How to Set NAS Storage (WEB 5.0)

Steps to Set NAS Storage

  1. Login to the Device

    • Access the device's web interface.
    • Enter your login credentials to gain access.

  2. Navigate to Record Settings

    • From the homepage, click on Record.

  3. Access Storage Settings
       Go to Storage.

  4. Configure Network Storage

    • In the Storage Method section, select Network storage.
    • Choose NAS to save the recorded videos on the NAS server.

Selecting NAS Protocol Type

  1. Choose Protocol Type

    • NFS (Network File System): A file system that allows computers in the same network to share files through TCP/IP.
    • SMB (Server Message Block): Provides shared access for clients and the server.

  2. Enable and Apply

    • Click Enable.
    • Click Apply to confirm the settings.

Configuring NAS Parameters

  1. Set Server IP

    • Enter the IP address of the NAS server in the Server IP field.

  2. Set Storage Path

    • Specify the destination path in the NAS server where the recordings will be saved.

  3. Save the Settings

    • Click Apply to save the NAS storage configurations.
