How to Enable Enhanced IP Mode

*Important Considerations

Enabling Enhanced IP Mode will allow you to connect to the maximum number of cameras, but it also comes with some limitations:

  • Enhanced IP Mode will disable 2K/4K output resolution.
  • The following features will be unavailable on analog channels:
    • Perimeter protection
    • Human or vehicle detection of motion detection
    • Facial detection
    • Face picture comparison functions


Steps to Enable Enhanced IP Mode

Access the Recorder Interface
Log in using your admin credentials.


Navigate to System Settings
Once logged in, go to the main menu.
Select System Configuration > General > More Settings.


Enable Enhanced IP Mode
Look for the option labeled Enhanced IP Mode.
Check the box or toggle the switch to enable Enhanced IP Mode.


Save and Apply Settings
Click Apply to confirm the changes.
The recorder might need to restart for the new settings to take effect.
