Diamond IPC || Flood Light HNC2IL26N-IRAS/28 Configuration through DMSS App

Diamond IPC || Flood Light HNC2IL26N-IRAS/28 Configuration through DMSS App

Adding the flood light camera procedure to DMSS is very similar to adding the Doorbell. Remember the new out of the box Flood light camera does not have your network configuration in it. You will need to use the DMSS app and connect to the flood camera in AP (Access Point) mode then push your Wireless Access Point SSID and password information over. Once a flood light camera is online you can then access it’s video using the DMSS app.

Note: You may add the floodlight to a Diamond series NVR through the private protocol

Here is the breakdown procedure.

  1. Flood light camera physical installation.
    1. Flood light camera can accept 100V - 240V AC.
    2. Turn off the flood light power, and be sure to switch the circuit breaker to off position.
    3. Remove the existing flood light

Using Adapter plate

  1. Route the power cable through the adapter plate
  2. Connect the power cable using the wire nuts provided.
  3. Use electrical tape to secure the wire.
  4. Connect the ground cable to the adapter plate.
  5. Attach the adapter plate to the wall using the appropriate accessories.

  2. Flood light camera adapter plate is also compatible with UJB-155 Universal junction box.
  3. However you will need to attach the adapter plate to junction box using the self taping screw provided by UJB-155.
