NOTE: You can have multiple presets with auto tracking, but there is a delay of about 1 second when the camera swaps between them. This is affected by the complexity of the scene and how many auto tracking presets you have enabled.
1. Log into your PTZ camera web client, install any plug ins that are requested.
2. Go to the "Setup" menu.
3. Go to "PTZ Settings" then, click on "Function".
4. Click "Preset" and use the arrows to position the camera to the desired area. Click "Add". Repeat for as many presets as you like.
5. Make sure you press "Save".
6. Go to "Event", then click on "Smart Plan". Then on "Add Plan".
7. On the "Add Plan" drop down select the preset that you want to have IVS rules, you can add multiple.
8. Select "Deep IVS" (Lightbulb) for all presets that you want to have Deep IVS rules.
9. Under "Event", select "Deep IVS".
10. Click the plus sign in the upper right corner of the table to add an IVS rule.
11. Select which rule type you would like from the drop down menu.
12. Click "Draw Rule", using left - click, draw regions around the image that you want to use as triggers. Once finished drawing, press right click.
13. Make sure that "Alarm Track" is enabled, this is what enables auto tracking. You can configure how long the camera tracks (in seconds) here as well.
14. Click "Save".
