Diamond Recorder || Email Notification from Yahoo || Web GUI

Go to your Yahoo account and click Account Info.

Select Account Security.

Scroll down and click on Generate app password.

Click Get started.

Enter a name. ex Diamond NVR and click Generate password.

This password will be used when email notifications are set up on the recorder. Make note of the password.

On the recorder, Click on SETTING and then select Network.

Click on Email.

Ensure Enable is checked off and enter in information as shown below.

Select TLS in Encryption Type. Add all email addresses that will receive notifications in the Receiver section.

Next to Sending Interval, enter the number of seconds you want between each email notice.

To ensure the email notification system is still operational, you can sign up to receive emails by checking off Health Mail box. In the field next to Sending Interval, specify how frequently you want those emails to be sent.image.png


Click Apply.

To test alerts using the data you entered above, click the Test button on the bottom left.
A notification that reads Test succeeded will appear at the top, and you will also receive a test email.
If it reads Test Failed, double-check the data you provided earlier.
